Rosneft, FinMin disagree on Eastern Petrochemical Co financing

MOSCOW, Sep 8 (PRIME) -- The government is discussing financing the Eastern Petrochemical Company of oil major Rosneft from the National Wealth Fund, but the Finance Ministry and Rosneft disagree on the issue, Deputy Minister Alexei Sazanov told reporters on Wednesday.

"There are some issues, firstly, financing from National Wealth Fund, the amount, and whether it needs to be done at all," Sazanov said.

The official said in May that Russia could support the project by raising the reverse excise duty on naphtha refining.
